Blogging on Squarespace

In case you delete your blog template, I’ve added the instructions below. And here’s a Squarespace blogging article with all you need and more.

Writing your Post

  • Do your research! Google likes high-quality content. As easy as it is to just use ChatGPT to create the whole post, it will be much better if you give it some copy you’ve written and some research to work with. Adding links to other resources throughout your post will make your post much better. Using your own voice and your point of view will make it connect better.

  • You can tell ChatGPT if you want it more casual, friendly, etc.

  • Break it up and make it more interesting with subheads, lists, bullets, images, and quotes

  • The best way to optimize for SEO is with high-quality content. Don’t overstuff it with keywords. Just write naturally.

  • You’ll want a minimum of 300 words. The highest-ranking posts are usually 1500 words or more.

Choosing Images

  • Use high-quality images that reflect your brand. Avoid clichés. Choose ones that add value and emotion, not just repeat what you’ve already said.
