What is Anxiety Therapy?

Sessions focus on increasing awareness of physical sensations, reducing chronic tension and helping clients process emotions that are difficult to access through talk therapy alone. By working with both mental and physical responses, mind-body therapy supports deep emotional insight and long-term change.

Mind-body therapy integrates trauma-informed psychotherapy with somatic and nervous system-based techniques. Modalities used may include EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ego states, Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), and somatic awareness practices to support emotional processing and regulation.

Anxiety therapy may help with:

  • Reducing stress and anxiety

  • Releasing emotional blockages

  • Improving emotional regulation

  • Releasing chronic tension in the body

  • Increasing mental clarity and focus

  • Strengthening the mind-body connection

  • Promoting deep relaxation and nervous system balance

Why work with me?

I offer a grounded, relational approach to therapy that balances structure with flexibility. Sessions are collaborative and paced to your nervous system, allowing space for both emotional insight and real-life application.

My style is supportive and direct, helping clients build awareness, develop practical regulation skills, and move through emotional patterns that feel stuck or overwhelmed.

This approach is well-suited for individuals who want more than talk therapy alone and are looking for a therapy process that includes both emotional understanding and felt experience in the body. Many clients come to this work after traditional therapy has helped intellectually but not fully resolved stress or trauma responses.

If you are seeking therapy that is thoughtful, integrative, and focused on long-term change rather than quick fixes, this work may be a good fit.
